About Teton Peaks Residential Center

Emotions tend to accompany the onset of adolescence. But there's a threshold between typical teen angst and symptoms of deeper problems. That's why Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) offers access to specialized resources in Idaho Falls.

Teton Peaks Residential Center is specially designed to provide high-quality mental health and behavioral treatment to teenage girls between 13 and 18 years old. Teton Peaks patients tend to be mentally, emotionally or behaviorally impaired and require long-term treatment in a secure environment.

Our program is also for girls who require continuing care after acute psychiatric hospitalization or who need a 24-hour therapeutic program less restrictive than inpatient hospitalization.

At Teton Peaks, located within EIRMC's Behavioral Health Center, we focus on identifying behavioral health challenges and providing individualized treatment interventions that prepare teenagers to function in the community. With a team trained in trauma-informed care, we can help heal the pain your child is experiencing.

If a specific incident or pattern of behavior has raised concern for the safety of your teen daughter or your family, it may be time to ask for help.
