Registered Nurse, PICU

This full time position in the PICU is responsible for the delivery of patient care in the critical care setting through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This includes caring for critically ill pediatric patients immediately post anesthesia, trauma patients, neurological patients, medical-surgical patients and oncology patients requiring critical care.

Registered Nurse, NICU

This position is responsible for participating in the direct care of patients in NICU; performing nursing assessments of patients by observation and interaction with patient/significant others for educational, physiological, psychosocial, comfort, and safety needs; planning and coordinating care, and follow-up with other associates, departments, physicians and management as necessary; evaluating and documenting each patients response to interventions. RN participates in the unit’s quality improvement program by identifying and collecting then analyzing elements that contribute to quality care, and documenting the results. May serve as Charge Nurse; be responsible for caregiver assignments according to patient need, individual nurse workload, and available staff. Acts as a resource person to assess overall situations of the department is capable of making independent decisions, and reports pertinent information to the Physician, Charge Nurse, Clinical Team Leader, Manager, Director or House Supervisor.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/ Oncology Unit

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/ Oncology Unit is responsible for the delivery of nursing care to the general medical/surgical populations utilizing the nursing process. Special populations include vascular, wound care, GI, ophthalmology, and bariatric surgeries. The Registered Nurse (RN) oversees and directs the care of LPN’s and assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients. When the need arises, the RN will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Registered Nurse (RN) Progressive Care Unit

Progressive Care is a fast-paced, acute-care 37 bed unit. The registered nurse will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to provide evidence based care as part of an accredited cardiac and stroke center of excellence. The employee is required to have graduated from an accredited Registered Nursing program and must maintain a current Idaho Professional Nursing license or RN Compact License required. Basic Dysrhythmia and, ACLS are required within first year of employment and ongoing, along with AHA CPR for Healthcare Providers certification and hospital mandatory’s for employment on Cardiac Care.
