Dr. Edward Setser is a native of North Carolina. He received his undergraduate degree from Davidson College and his medical degree from Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. He completed his residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX.

Dr. Setser is a board-certified thoracic surgeon with over 20 years of experience. He practices all phases of adult cardiac surgery, including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair and replacement, pulmonary resection and carotid endarterectomy, among many others.

In his free time, Dr. Setser enjoys fly fishing, hiking, and motorcycling.
