Dr. Alejandro Perez-Verdia is a board-certified Cardiologist with exceptional skill and experience treating patients with heart disorders. He earned his medical degree at the Universidad Anahuac in North Mexico. Dr. Perez-Verdia completed a residency of Internal Medicine and a fellowship in cardiology at Texas Tech University before completing a fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University of Missouri Kansas City/Mid America Heart Institute.
Dr. Perez-Verdia joins us after working as the Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology services at University Medical Center in Lubbock ,Texas for more than six years. Dr. Perez-Verdia has a passion for mentoring and educating young medial students, serving as Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Disease/Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Texas Tech University where he also mentored third-year medical students each year.
Dr. Perez-Verdia speaks fluent Spanish. He enjoys participating in triathlons as well as reading novels, listening to music and cooking in his spare time.
