S. Blake Wachter, MD, PhD

Dr. Wachter received her doctoral degree in medical informatics while attending medical school at the University of Utah. She completed her fellowship in cardiology and subspecialty fellowship in advanced heart failure/transplant. Dr. Wachter lives in Idaho Falls, Idaho with her loving husband and two wonderful children.

Kenneth E. Krell MD, FACP

Dr. Krell attended undergraduate and medical school at Michigan State University with graduate training at Michigan State University and University of Washington. He was Medical Director of Critical Care, Medical Director of Quality Improvement at EIRMC for over 30 years. Dr. Krell recently retired from his position in the ICU to accept the position of Associate Program Director, Internal Medicine Residency along side of Dr. Blake Wachter. Dr. Krell has been a principal investigator in 29 critical trials in critical care, and has over 28 publications. In his free time Dr. Krell enjoys time with family, including grandkids, tending to his farm and cows. He also enjoys hunting and fishing. Dr. Krell currently holds the post of Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington.
