Lisa King is a nurse, wife, mother of two, and a breast cancer survivor.

"Two years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer and then I finished all of my treatments about a year and a half ago. I had all of my treatments done at EIRMC [Eastern Idaho Medical Center]. I had my mammogram, my surgery, and my radiation. So thanks to EIRMC, they helped me conquer cancer," King said.

And she recently conquered something else.

"And they also gave me the opportunity to conquer Everest Base Camp. The experience was one in a lifetime and it was an amazing adventure. My husband went with me and there were about six of us that were cancer survivors, but everyone there had some connection to cancer; whether it was a loved one who battled with it or lost the battle or a lot of health care providers," King said.
