Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center's parent company, Hospital Corporation of America, has presented its Frist Humanitarian Awards.
The awards are given annually in recognition of the humanitarian spirit and philanthropic work of the late Dr. Thomas Frist Sr., a Hospital Corporation of America founder, an EIRMC news release said. Each year EIRMC honors an employee, physician and volunteer with this award.
The hospital also announced its Excellence in Nursing Awards, which "recognize the intrinsic value of nursing practice in accomplishing the company mission of providing the highest quality of care to the patients and communities we serve," the release said.
