Chief Nursing Officer
Ann Kjosa has 30 years in healthcare, including ten years of CNO experience at various hospitals across the nation, including within HCA. She also has six years’ experience as Chief Operating Officer, which makes her uniquely adept at leading both the clinical and business operations of nursing.
Ann’s most recent role prior to EIRMC has been as COO and Chief Experience Officer at St. Peter’s Hospital in Helena. Prior to that, she served as Chief Nursing Officer at Penrose/St. Francis Health System in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She has also served as a CNO for Ocala Health System in Ocala, Florida, an HCA facility.
Ann has a BN in Nursing from Presentation College in Aberdeen, South Dakota (her hometown, by the way, where she started as a Nursing Assistant at age 18). She also holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from Regis University in Denver, Colorado, and is a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives. Ann is also community-minded, having served organizations such as March of Dimes, Rotary, the Heart Walk, United Way, and many educational institutions in the communities where she’s lived.
Ann brings a success record of increasing of nurse, physician, and patient satisfaction through open and honest communication.
